Sally McCabe Shipley

Taught Speech I & II, English 10, Forensics, Radio, TV at SMW 1963-1994. Prior to that was English Dept, Theater Dept, Librarian, Cheerleader/pep club sponsor, Newspaper sponsor, Yearbook sponsor & director of the plays at Glen Elder HS, Glen Elder, KS.

"I took an early retirement...although I loved West and teaching, my husband took an early retirement and bought into a golf driving range; so I helped him and really enjoyed the experience. I love animals so we have also been a foster family many times at Waysides Wars and volunteered there too."

"I am so fortunate to still live in the area and often see former West students. You are the best! Glen Elder no longer has a high school, but I'm still in touch with many of them too. I really did enjoy every year at both schools."
