Pam was such a free spirit and I did keep up with her long after graduation. I remember when she brought her first baby boy over to my house, he was so advanced physically that I was afraid I was doing something wrong!  I do remember when she and Bob moved to the southwest. We exchanged Christmas cards for a few years, then I left the country and I lost touch. I have thought about trying to look her up, but could not even remember the town she used to live in.

Does anyone know what happened to Pam?  How is her husband and how are her kids?  Please reply to this comment if you know anything about her life or her death.  I am so sad that she left us so early.  What a joy of a human being.  Connie Skoog

Pam had her PhD. DOCTOR Dunbar! What more could you expect from someone who built the major monuments of Washington D.C. out of sugar cubes in 4thgrade and had them all in proportion on a huge decorated piece of plywood?!? The rest of us at Tomahawk were just in awe! Her mother,Dulcy, was a Girl Scout leader and I think she was a former teacher. She motivated her girls! :-) Does anyone know where Carol Calhoun is? Another memory I have of Pam is that she had a serious problem with her eyelashes!! She either singed them all off while baking with a gas oven, or perhaps it was using a lash curler AFTER applying mascara! Bless her heart, she showed up at school, told the story and just laughed and had us all laughing! Could it be that she had BOTH of these experiences? I am sorry that Pam won't be with us for this reunion. I bet she was still tall, trim, and able
to twirl a baton!

Pam and I started going  together sometime during our senior year.  Senior prom, graduation, a sandbar party where someone was bitten by a snake, riding in her blue car wth the "Smokey the Bear" ash tray, several camping trips with her family.  Her mom and dad were so nice.  Pam was really a great lady - kind, wonderful smile and a really captivating laugh.  We broke up the summer after graduation.  I saw her once freshman year and that was the last time.

I knew Pam from band.  Pam and I had English class our senior year with Mr. Sheffler . Out of the blue she called for help with our senior paper. She and I had chosen the same topic “The Decline of Feudalism in 19th Century Japan”. I am not kidding. I agreed to go over to her house and help her.  We spent a few hours going over my sources and my notes.  But most of the time was spent listening about her breakup with Dave.  Some time later I asked her out.  We doubled with my best friend, Ken McKay.  It was our English leather years. I remember that she worked in downtown Overland Park at a 5 and 10. I would pop in sometimes.

The only other time I remember running into her was fall or spring freshman year at KU. She was such a nice person.

Pam died April 29, 2003 in Meridan, Valley County, Idaho. She was survived by her husband Robert and her two boys.

She was too good for this earth.

Pam was one of my best friends when she was dating Dave Stryker. Dave, Pam,. Scott Driver had some wild and fabulous times together always... I talked to Pam's husband a few years ago and found out she had passed away from Cancer. She was such a delightfull friend to have.
