I went to Baker then K-State, quit and went into the Air Force. Became a Weather Observer. I served a year in Vietnam attached to the Army. I went back to school after the military, graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Business. I worked for a number of companies, went to Arizona on a vacation, fell in love with it, moved there, did some post grad work at Arizona State University, and decided it wasn't much fun. A friend of the family suggested I would be good at real estate - I tried it, loved it, and that was May of 1978. Here I am still loving it. Life has been good to me and I know it. Luck is better than anything. I may never retire - at least as long as working is fun.

School Story:

Had a blast in high school. Went to SMN first year and SMW junior and senior year. We spent every morning in the parking lot in our cars smoking cigarettes, hiding them from the teachers that would patrol from time to time, and talking about everything but school. I loved the chaos at class change times and lunch, singing the senior boys song every morning the last couple of weeks our senior year, listening to Eddie Funk rev up his black Corvette and peel out, friends, parties, beer, drive in movies, driving around, Griff's Burger Bar, Winsteads, looking at all you cute girls, and all the rest. I played and never got serious about school until after I got out of the service.

Happy Birthday on 1/7/18! How about a Porsche, exotic trip, fancy dinner, or an evening by the fire. Since it's you - perhaps most or even all of the above. I suggest red on the car - what the heck. You can turn on the heater to keep warm in KC - brrrrrrr - Weather Channel says -12 degrees in KC with wind chill now at 9:35 am.

I know you like old cars so take a look at one my brother in law is bringing to the Barrett Jackson Auction here in Scottsdale next month. It is a beauty.
