Thanking you Shirley .....

for all your work on getting everyone together and excited about the 63-64 REUNION !!

I signed in on this site and then realized how much interaction is possible ...... it is great !

I have connected with some "old" friends already and look forward to much more sharing.

I am excited to expereince our SMW Reunion and all that leads up to it.

It has been some time since I was in O.P.

I will be doing some work in Paris in October, but am cutting it short to "come home" to K.C.

Again, thanks to you and all the committe members !

I know this is no easy task!

Shirley and all the rest,

Thank you so much.  It is a wonderful site and I can see that many, many hours have gone into this.  I will be there.  Shirley - make sure John is there.  We are staying with my brother in KC except Saturday night we'll be at the hotel - I'll miss the breakfast but will be there in the evening.

Take care,

Rusty

To Shirley and the committee -

All of you obviously worked long and hard to organize a fantastic event for the class.   Thank you, thank you!  It was worth the trip, the anticipation, the anxieties and the effort!    I wish I were closer and could've pitched in because I know what goes into an event of that magnitude.  You all thought of everything; i just can't say enough.  Very classy.

This trip back in time put many unfinished memories in place and proper perspective;  and I discovered great folks I remember but never got to know.  Can't wait to receive the 2013 "Class Photo".

To Shirley and the Reunion Committee,

At the risk of being utterly redundant, I want to echo the accolades and kudos that have been bombarding you--you guys/gals did such an amazing job in every respect.  I hope you ALL feel justifiably proud and self-satisfied.  I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work and attention to detail involved--the food, the music, the decorations, the memorabilia, the photo booth, the fabulous website that kept the momentum building, and the endless planning for each aspect--everything combining to produce a magical experience.  Can't remember when I last saw such a boisterous, joyful gathering of people so happy to be in one another's company--hugs and shrieks and more hugs--such joy!.

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to reconnect with such a special group (and the inaugural classes of SM West were very special)--thank you, thank you for making all of it possible!

Gratefully and admiringly,

Karen Metcalf Callaghan

Linda Teeple (Fairchild) (1963)

Thanks to all of you for putting this reunion together. It was an amazing and surreal time as all of us oldsters turned young again. My sister, Kathy, and our husbands had a great time. Thanks again. Lynn, I hope your wife is doing well. As we have all learned over the years, if it's not one thing, it's another. God bless you all.

To Shirley and the Reunion Committe

I also wanted to extend kudos that have been bombarding you on the website and communications, as I know the amount of work and time all of you spent is amazing job. I am so sorry that I was unable to attend the reunion itself but have enjoyed reading the post and keeping informed on my classmates at SMW. I was so proud to be a part of SMW first graduating class.

I am sorry I did not get the opportunity to reconnect with such a special group (and the inaugural classes of SM West were very special)!  Hoping to stay connected through the website.

Thanks again for all your work,

Jo Ellen (Hays) Green

I know I said it in person, but wanted to add to the web site - To Shirley and committee - What an incredible job you did.  As one person said it did put us back into our youth, even if for a couple of nights.  It would not have happened without you and the committee!!!

To Shirley & Reunion Committee:

Kudos to everyone who was involved in the reunion committee.  My husband and I really enjoyed the evening at the Marriott.

It was a very classy presentation.  Enjoyed meeting people I had not seen since 1964, wow-50 years.  The passage of years looked like it treated us all well.

Recieved my class picture and there were people there that I never found the night of the reunion.

Can we do this again, so I can find everyone (ha,ha).

Really appreciate all the work you guys did to make the reunion a special week-end.

Can only imagine the work that went into this project.

You guys thought of everything, what a group effort.

Thanks again for all the memories.

Barbara
